Why do Bengals fans want Hines Ward suspended?
I have not read any articles regarding Bengals fans wanting Hines Ward suspended. The only press I have noticed regarding the hit was Keith Rivers accusing Ward of dishing out a cheap hit on him. It is my opinion that Steelers fans want to make a bigger issue out of this than it is. By assuming the Steelers are the only team in the league playing “smash-mouth football” is as ridiculous as assuming they had a decent fan base prior to their AFC North dominance. If it’s an attempt to generate some kind of pity for Ward in regards to the recent penalties, nobody feels it. You can not be a premier football team in this league and dodge criticism. Steeler fan, stop assuming everyone is jealous of your success and work on being a bit humble for once in your history.
