Why do Barcelona have a Only Catalan policy when is come to players?

That’s not true, but I think they do favor to use players who come from their academy to some extent. That’s not exactly bas in my opinion. Such is what makes Spanish football thriving these days, unlike say for example Italy (my favorite by the way, so it pains me to say this). At some point you have to rely on what you’ve got and trust that you can develope the potential of your home grown talent, it is what will make football evolve as a whole for years to come. Barca sets a good example of this; being a big club doesn’t really mean buying your way in to win trophies, you work hard and long at it by developing players that are worth it.
