Why do bad people always get what they want?
They only get what they THINK they want. When they finally get it, it’s not all that cracked up to what it was meant to be. One good example from my experience is the woman who helped destroy my 13-year-marriage. She befriended me and my husband and gradually pushed her way into it. It is what she set out to do. He was weak, fell for it, and he succombed and had a major affair and it (the marriage) was over. She saw a man with a house, nice cars and his own business. She thought that equalled the good life which looked easy. I got paid my settlement, he wanted the house and she moved in when I moved out. She found out the hard way that he is NOT the easiest man to live with (workaholic, alcoholic.) What she also didn’t realise is that all that we had, we had to work hard for. Nobody gave us that ‘good life’ and it took years to build up and we never stopped working because of bills. She thought she was going to lay around by the pool all day sipping champagne or something, I don’t know
