Why Do Back to School Art Activities Help?
While the end of summer vacation is often viewed as a terrible disappointment and the “end of all fun” by kids, it doesn’t have to be. Most parents know that by the second week back at school their kids will be happy to be back in the classroom. Therefore, it’s just that transitional period that needs to be addressed. One solution is to find some back to school activities that help foster some anticipation. For example, many parents will take the children with them when they go shopping for new school supplies. Then, all the shiny new pencils, pens, and notebooks are packed away until school actually starts, which makes the child excited about getting to open all the new tools for learning.
