Why do babies make funny noises while breastfeeding?
Because that’s what babies do, they make funny noises all the time! But seriously, it may be simply because the breast milk flows fairly fast and the noise is just the baby swallowing. However, sometimes babies make strange noises if they are not on the breast properly. If this is about you feeding your baby, just keep an eye out and make sure the baby is getting enough and not just sucking. BTW, it’s nothing to do with “forgetting” to breathe, tiny babies are able to breathe and feed at the same time.
