Why do atheists deny the existence of the Creator?
• This statement is inherently flawed. It comes from the perspective that there is a creator, and this creator has to be denied. This is shifting the burden of proof to the atheist rather than the theist, although the theist is the one that has made an assertion – that there is a god. This would be no different than me claiming that there is a teapot orbiting the sun in an elliptical orbit, that cannot be seen by even our most powerful telescopes. Thus it must exist since it cannot be disproved. This is known as Russell’s teapot. Other variations of Russell’s teapot include the invisible pink unicorn, and Flying Spaghetti Monster.
