Why do ASD initiatives need to come to Treasury Board?
• ASD initiatives by their very nature pose significant policy and program issues across a wide range of policy fronts from HR and OL to governance and accountability. • TB as management board needs to be involved early in the process to ensure that these initiatives serve the public interest, and that a “whole of government” view is considered.
