There are over 350 PhD/MPhil students at the Institute, who come from a range of backgrounds including psychology, psychiatry, nursing, social work and basic sciences. Research covers the broadest spectrum: from molecular genetics and biology, to neuroscience, neuroimaging, clinical research studies, psychological studies and new treatments; from longitudinal studies, clinical trials, bio statistics, epidemiology and health services research, to transcultural studies.
