Why do American women wear wedding veils?
In the torah, Moses sees God’s back and his face begins to glow because he is imprinted with a bit of God’s light. The light was so bright and intimidating, to make the people around him feel more comfortable, he wore a veil. Today, brides wear veils because it is said they the brides are shinning so bright with God’s light that they need to wear a veil just as Moses had.
