Why do all Video Games based on Movies suck?

0

What are you talking about, E.T. on the Atari 2600 was awesome! Seriously though, the vast majority of movie based games suck, usually because the people producing the movie are looking for the game to come out around the same time to be released in conjunction with one another, as a result the games are largely rushed without much thought process behind them. Then there’s the matter of games developers being the sorts who like to think up their own ideas, not bcause film studios decided it’d be a good idea for them to make it, even if it is several years down the line. Still, there are exceptions. Games like Goldeneye, The Godfather and some of the Indiana Jones games (such as Fate of Atlantis) were all well received.

The same reason most movies based on video games suck. The two just don’t tend to work out with each other, and besides the producers don’t want to put the effort in to it.
