Why Do All NBA Video Games Have Rap As The Primary Music On The Game?
To be honest, I can’t stand rap. I really, really don’t like it. I don’t think that I’ll ever like it. I do however, like basketball. I own several NBA basketball video games for PS2. But what I don’t understand is why every single NBA video game plays rap and rap only on its sound tracks. Why is this? Do they need to diversify it? I think so. “Well don’t they usually play rap music at basketball games?” Not really. When you go watch the games you’ll find that they mix it up alot when it comes to types of music. I’ve been to several arenas where they play ’80s hair metal music almost as much as anything else, primarily because the beats get the crowd going. I’m not saying that I’m not going to buy the video games because of the music, I’m just saying that they should change it up some. For the NBA 2K series, 3 years ago they didn’t even play real rap, instead they played different types of beats that came from several different music backgrounds. jokesterz, your assumptions about what
