Why do a Map & Globe Survey?
• The world is constantly changing. With recent world changes, many materials being used in classrooms are no longer accurate. • The inventory provides you with professional recommendations that are based on the most current materials available as well as correlations to textbooks and cross-curricular subjects. • This service is FREE and there is no further purchase obligation. How long will the inventory take? • Approximately 1 to 2 minutes per classroom for the average building. • Approximately one week to process the information and prepare recommendations. • After the inventory is prepared, your Rand McNally representative will request a meeting with the principal, department chair, or other appropriate staff members to explain the inventory and answer questions about the recommendations. When can an inventory be done? • At your convenience. Appointments can be scheduled for any time that works for you: before school, during the school day, over lunch periods, or after school.
