Why do a lot of people say that the catholic church and teachings are corrupt and false?
Actually I rarely see this. What I see instead is non-Catholics criticizing the Church for what they have been taught we believe instead of what we actually believe and teach. Those false beliefs attributed to the Church would be corrupt and false but the problem is that the Church does not teach what they claim.The truth is that if the Church did teach such things then most Catholics would no longer be Christian and would rightfully reject the Church and Christianity as a hoax. But, I am one Catholic who is encouraged by their arguments for if Catholic teaching was truly false then it would not be necessary to fabricate falsehoods about the Church because there would be real false teaching and practice to argue against instead. Truly such pathetic accusations against the Church prove that the Church is truly the pillar and foundation of the Church just as the Bible teaches. God bless! In Christ Fr.
