Because their standard of true emotional character based acting is still very low. Their acting schools and precedence for their acting talent are mostly shipped overseas if they show promise. Now I will try not to be patronising, but in countries where the education level is low such as India, Africa, Cambodia etc at least 80% of the films they make are musically styled since this panders to the populous’ lack of understanding of film concepts and intelligent polt lines.
