Why Do 95% Of UK Households Buy Battery Farmed Chickens To Eat If It Is So Cruel?

Firstly, intensive or factory farming is about to be banned in the UK so that solves that problem! Secondly, it is cruel there is no doubt about that, some of the practices by some, not all, of the factory farmers are barbaric. Thirdly, I love chicken and would eat it every day if my family would let me but I buy the free range variety. I think the 95% figure is probably wrong, there are a lot of none factory farmed chickens around now. Remember the birds don’t have to be raised in fields to be none intensive farmed, some are raised in barns but in good conditions. It would probably be impossible to meet demand for meat and eggs purely from free range chucks, there’d be chucks everywhere, literaly everywhere!! Fourthly!! Phew!! Channel 4 should be allowed to show it as it is, that isn’t irresponsible, however, putting a slant on things either way is.
