Why Diva Induction cooktops DO NOT have a power boost setting?
Power boost is used on burners that have a lower output and allows those burners to have a “temporary” higher power setting. In addition, this “temporary” setting is limited to only 2 or 3 of the burners at one time. If the setting is used on more burners, it shuts off automatically and reduces the power on all the engaged burners to their normal max power. In most cases, power boost cannot be reactivated after the power has been reduced back to the normal high setting. Diva cooktops do not require such a setting because the normal maximum power output far exceeds the boost output of other manufacturers.
