Increasing numbers of students work part-time or are distance learners and require quick and easy access to learning materials. Digitisation of essential course material is one way to provide this. Digitisation is also useful when classes are large. Digitised material can be accessed off campus and there are no restrictions on the number of simultaneous users. Extracts can be viewed on screen, downloaded or a copy can be printed.
