Why didn’t the trash collection crew take them?
The Solid Waste Department will only pick up items that fit completely into the trash collection bins provided by the city during the regular trash collection run. If the item you have is bulky, you must contact the Solid Waste Department at 940-349-8700 for a special pick-up. When you make your arrangements for pick-up, the Customer Service Representative will tell you the fee amount for this extra service. Also, as with the trash collection bins, the item may only be placed at the curb after 6:00 PM the evening before the scheduled pick-up, and must remain out of public view until it is placed at the curb for collection.
