The South Haven City Council determined that the former Bohn Aluminum Factory site should remain industrially zoned; therefore, the Lake Michigan Resort project could not proceed at that location. The Council did, however, build a supportive provision into a resolution that asked for additional South Haven sites to be investigated. This led us to the Dunkley Avenue site that is ideally located on the Black River.
