Why didn Swords Dance increase Bites power?
Swords Dance raises Attack, while Bite is a special type attack, based on Special Attack. Based on Attack, resisted by Defense: Normal Fighting Bug Flying Ground Rock Ghost Poison Steel Based on Special Attack, resisted by Special Defense: Fire Water Electric Grass Ice Psychic Dragon Dark There are some moves (like Fire Punch) which “touches” the opponent when attacking. This has nothing to do with physical/special types. It only matters when you’re using it on Sharpedo’s Rough Skin or Breloom’s Effect Spore.
