Why didn Macedon attack Rome when Carthage was attacking them?

0

Being that Macedonian height of power was a hundred years before Carthage became a problem for Rome the two powers would not have come together , Alexander the great died in 323 bc , Hannibal’s attacks on Rome were about 220 bc by then Macedonian power was all but finished, It was still using its same old tactics of planx formations and elite cavalry charges . The Romans had long before found a way to break such tactics, Philip v did make a small move to attack Rome but didn’t have the sea power to do much, Besides Macedonia had more than enough troubles of its own without trying to take on one of the most dangerous powers in the know world at the time.
