Why didn I receive Emergency Email Notification Mail List emails when my neighbor did?
If you have a SPAM folder in your email application, check that folder for any emails incorrectly identified as SPAM. SPAM email is a big problem on the Internet today where up to 50% of all email is classified as SPAM. In an effort to curtail SPAM in your email mailbox, different Internet service providers are using anti-SPAM features to limit SPAM from being delivered to your email account. Accuracy is never 100%. In most cases, your Internet service provider may “redirect” our mail list emails to a SPAM or other folder in your email account. When someone notifies us of an email reception problem, more often than not, we find that the problem was with how your Internet service provider handles SPAM. You should make sure that your email preferences do not prevent our emails from being delivered to you. Make sure the hvrsd.k12.nj.us domain is an acceptable domain from which you can receive email.
