Why didn I get my rebate by direct deposit to my ipower Card account?
Even if you had proceeds loaded to your ipower Card account at the time of tax preparation, the IRS will mail your rebate check to the address on your tax return because ipower Cards were issued in conjunction with bank products. The IRS is issuing paper stimulus checks to taxpayers who entered into any loan or financial agreement with tax professionals. These taxpayers cannot receive their stimulus payments by direct deposit to an ipower Card or to a bank account.
