Why didn Bruce Lee enter amateur boxing tournaments or pro martial arts tornaments?
Chuck Norris went from karate tournaments to acting. Bruce Lee was a martial arts expert who taught classes and got into acting. I have known several martial arts instructors who never compete in tournaments and do not want their students doing so either. Their theory is that tournaments have rules that don’t allow certain actions, and when you are in the street you can not think about what is legal or not legal you must react without thinking. Lee was an outstanding athlete and could have done well, but that was not his objective in life.
