Why did you decide to make over Blossom star Mayim Bialik?
Clinton: Stacy and I have cracked ‘Blossom’ jokes for years on the show, so when the producers said, “What do you think about making over Mayim Bialik?” we practically jumped for joy. We thought it was hilarious. The great thing about Mayim is that she’s super smart and got it immediately, unlike some of the ding-dongs we have on the show. Mayim was great — she’s funny, she knows how to make television and she’s smart, so that’s kind of the perfect recipe for a great makeover. Stacy: Oh, Mayim was a total hot mess. One of the biggest problems I saw was that her insides and her accomplishments did not match the way she was dressing.
