Why did you cancel the dive planned on the 5 th of July?
As I announced before, I listened and accepted my body signals. The 30th of June, I surfaced from the 209.6 meter- dive as any other dive. I embraced my surface team, climbed on the boat and answered the questions of the journalists. The sun was striking hard and it was a particular hot day as exceptionally we had no wind at all. 20 – 30 minutes after surfacing I was boiling in my wetsuit and asked someone to bring my cap and sun glasses. But too late, few minutes after I started feeling slightly light headed and had to sit down. As I didn’t feel better, I called Isabelle and mentioned her that something was wrong and told her I should go in the shade and breathe O2 by precaution. As the situation wasn’t improving and I was feeling so weak, I decided not to take any risks and asked to be evacuated to the hospital.
