Why did woman start wearing mini skirts when they weren aloud to in the olden days?
It wasn’t a question of women not being allowed to wear mini skirts in the ‘olden days’ – women can wear whatever they choose and always could. But most women follow the trends of fashion and if fashion says long skirts, they wear long skirts. Short skirts and they wear short skirts. Blue jeans and they wear blue jeans. Etc.etc.etc. The mini skirts were just the younger generation’s way of declaring their independence from the fashions of their elders – just as the short skirts in the 20s and the flapper hairdoes, were a way of differentiating themselves from the previous generation.
