Although the State Plant Survey removed planned classroom additions that were not currently in design phase. The classroom addition at Westglades Middle will be constructed as it is already in the design phase with funds expended. The State Plant Survey removed new middle school B1 in the District Educational Facilities Plan (DEFP) that was slated to provide enrollment relief for Lyons Creek Middle School. The state will not allow the School Board to build Middle School B1 due to the number of empty seats across the district.
