Why did West Midlands Police attempt to subvert democracy?
I think some police forces have a lot to answer for. They think that they are above the law and bring shame to other forces. I would like to see a system of complaint set up where individual police who are not racist or corrupt are free to report any behaviour that they think is wrong along with the public who feel abused by any officer.these reports would be put before a public committee who would act after several reports had been made and order an investigation and the sacking of those police who are not working in the interest of the public. The police do a very difficult job, but so do ambulance drivers, firemen and many other professionals. There is no excuse for doing your job badly and getting public money for it.
