Why did Warner drop Kennedy Cartoons as an animation house after the first season?

Robert A. Jung (rjung@netcom.com) writes: &gt I believe the semi-official word is that Warner Animation didn’t &gt like their art. When the “Kennedy got dropped” news was first &gt reported, someone (I think) forwarded a message from CompuServe &gt about it, where someone at Warners was quoted as saying that Kennedy &gt was being dropped because WB disliked the Kennedy style (the original &gt poster was a Kennedy fan). The Warner rep cited the same reasons &gt many Kennedy-haters cited: the shuffling feet, cigar-chewing mouths, &gt excessive bouncing/stretching. Unless someone from Warner Animation &gt wants to enlighten us officially, this is the closest we have to “fact”.
