UMAGA has become the latest major superstar to be fired by the WWE on the same day that Vickie Guerrero quit to spend more time with her family. The Samoan Bulldozer follows Ken Kennedy in being shown the door. Like Kennedy, fans are puzzled by his release as he had just been getting a good push by the WWE feuding with CM Punk. Umaga even got a major victory over the new world champion at last month’s Judgment Day PPV and they clashed again at Sunday’s Extreme Rules event. As is always the case the WWE wished the wrestler, real name Eddie Fatu, well “in his future endeavours”. The reason is unknown. Umaga had twice failed the company’s Wellness Policy, with many speculating he had fallen victim to their ‘three strikes and you’re out’ policy. He is claiming he quit.
