I have read all three series and I think there are several reasons Twilight is more popular… 1 – Twilight appeals to a wider variety. Vampire Diaries is a little too “teeny-bopper.” Anyone over the age of about 22 or 23 wouldn’t be interested. True Blood is awesome but because of the sex, cursing, and general mature themes, it isn’t for people under the age of 17 or 18. I know people are interested in Twilight from age 7 up to 60! 2. Twilight has an easier reading style. I don’t think its the BEST writing (True Blood gets that in my opinion) but it is easy. My 9 year old neice can read Twilight but would have a hard time reading the other two. 3. Twilight was made into a movie. The other two were made into TV series…. Honestly, movies just have more mass appeal. We’ll see which one sticks around!
