Why did Tiger Claw and Disney create the Elite Championships?
The Tiger Claw Qualifiers and Championship are Black Belt only events. There are 80 divisions total. Sixteen divisions are point-sparring, divided by gender, age and weight. Thirty-six divisions are Form/Kata including Classic Japanese/Okinawan, Kajukenbo/Kenpo/Polynesian, Korean, Tradition Kung Fu, Contemporary Wushu, Tai Chi/Internal, Contemporary, Creative and Musical.
