Why did they cancel ghost whisperer?
The show was canceled for these two reasons primarily: 1. Lower ratings. The show steadily lost viewers from last season and that is of course due to the show killing off Jim’s character and having him jump into another man’s body. Also the five-year jump ahead likely turned off some viewers as well. 2. The show I read was getting too expensive to make. As shows get older the cost goes up surprisingly. With Ghost Whisperer they probably had to pay the actors more money due to some being with the show for a few seasons and the special effects likely put a dent into their funds.
