Why did the zodiac killer start killing?
there might some level of sexual dysfunction present in the Zodiac phenomena that compelled the killer more than a desire for publicity. Certainly he wanted to be notorious, but so do most young men and they manage to get through it without killing anyone. I don’t have a particular theory about whether Zodiac was abused as a child or anything, but I think it would be naive to believe that Z was motivated only by a drive for publicity. So many other — in fact, almost all — known serial killers have recognizable sexual dysfunctions that I figure Zodiac will follow that pattern.
