Why did the white settlers think the Plains Indians were savages?
the white man in the old days wasnt as well informed as we are today.as a result they took the easy option of believing the common story the world over that all native peoples were indeed savages, itwasnt until the late 1960s people really through media began to understand the errors of our established beliefs.
