Why did the version number jump from 0.2.8 to 2.0?

After over 46,000 downloads, we realized that 0.2.8 was really our 1.0 release; we just didn’t know it at the time. The new release has been almost a year in the making and is much more than a “dot” release, so it had to be 2.0. We’ll try to be more predictable in future.
