Why did the US invade Iraq without the United Nations approval?
I’m dodging the Iraq part of the question and going straight at the UN approval part. The US doesn’t need UN approval to do anything. I hope you don’t believe that it does. You will find some very sketchy leaders on the UN security council that will veto a resoultion with practically any country that one might deem a threat.
