Why did the US declare war on Iraq?
The U.S. wanted to get rid of the blood-thirsty tyrants Saddam Hussein and his sons and underlings who were wiping out Kurds, Shiites and anyone else who disagreed with their tactics. They raped and murdered and plotted against their neighbors. So the U.S. declared war and invaded Iraq and occupied Baghdad quickly. The downside was no weapons of mass destruction remained in Iraq and Al Quaida and other terrorist groups have taken up the war.
