Why did the toolbar icons disappear when I upgraded to newest Windows Live Mail?
• Reply Contact I’ve been using Windows Live Mail since the beta (Desktop software). Outlook express since the first release, blah… I was shocked to see that the icons are now removed from the program. At the top level of the program as well as after you open an email, there are no longer VISUAL CUES to guide your actions. There’s a reason visual representations work better than words. People can GLANCE at them. I’m very disappointed and feel like Microsoft has taken a step back and isn’t listening to good UI designers. This is just plain wrong.
