This led to people who were upset, like Hitler, wanting to take Germany back to its golden age. Hitler believed there were two kinds of super people in the world, Jews and German and the world could not have both. He disliked the Jews. Antisemitism was really high in Germany and all of Europe then. It was hard to live there as a Jew after WW1 but the people considered themselves German and contrary to what Muffin Princess said, Jews did not declare economic war on anyone. If you actually understood history you would see that the majority of European Jewry was poor and they had no voice or means of doing that. Think about it. If they had that kind of power, why did the holocaust happen at all. Wikipedia is useless.
