Why did the spanish soccer team look so sad after they got beat by the USA soccer team?

Spain lost not due to their lack of skill, but because of USA converting on their opportunities. Spain is a much more skilled team and should have killed the US. I think Spain didn’t move the ball around as well as they usually do, thus allowing the US to put some more pressure. Also, the US stuck to their game plan. The US is no where near the quality of Spain, despite this 2-0 win, but they contained Spain and defended well when needed. When you look at the game, Spain dominated in every aspect of the game besides scoring ( yes i know that that’s all that matters). Spain had around 60% of the possession, outshot the US 16-4 (I believe), and were in the US half the majority of the game. All in all, USA converted on their opportunities and ended up defeating a much more skilled Spain, and they deserve the respect for that, but this hype about USA is going to be short lived. US football has a long way to becoming a great footballing nation and this win in no way reflects how they stack
