Why did the Persians let the Greeks win the war?
Persia was powerful but had to fight on many fronts, Xerxes also made the mistake of not listening to his advisors and thought Athens and Sparta would not unite. Although numerous the Persian army was not equipt to stand against the Greek phalanx, the casualties suffered at Thermopylae (said to have been 20,000) prove this. As for the Persians allowing the Greeks to win, i would suggest you read your history before making such a sweeping comment, Marathon, Thermopylae, Salamis, Platea, If there was cry babies present it was not the Greeks.
WHEN THE **** DID THAT HAPPEN AND I LOST IT???? Until now I thought that our ancestors, Greeks, fucked Persians! Because they were little chickens that wanted to take over the world.
