Why did the Olympic divers have such teensy towels?
They aren’t drying themselves off as you would after a shower. The towels are just to wipe down their hands and face. They hop into the showers to keep warm between dives, but they don’t dry off until they are finished their dives and leave the competition area for the shower and dressing room. Then they use a larger towel.
