Why did the Nazis force Jews to give up their jobs?
The wholesale dismissal of Jews had begun in April 1933 when (with a number of exceptions) Jews were dismissed from employment in the sector, the theatre and the media. Jewish doctors (physicians) were forbidden to treat non-Jewish patients. At that early stage the purpose was to bully the German Jews into leaving Germany.
