Why did the Muslim and Christian Gods need emperors to convert others by the sword?
These religions were very new and therefore the men who wrote these books included phrases like “thou shalt have no Gods before me” or “There is no God but Allah”. Obviously they were very insecure and had to engage in brain-washing. The Bible and Koran clearly instruct others to kill non believers and force them to follow the Bible/ Koran. The Emperoros were simply folloing orders from God as dictated by their prophets. Mohammad was a warrior who himself conducted over 300 mlitary campaigns. Islam was spread entirely by force. The same for Christianity — they burned the temples of the Pagans and their text books and the people alive. Without vioence these religions would not be as big as they are. Even today if a Muslim abandons Islma he is killed, yes killed. Why does God need such brutal tactics if he was not horribly insecure?
