Why did the mexicans start immigrating into the us?
“Mexicans” don’t generally immigrate to the USA. Most people would be shocked at how similar cities like Mexico City are to our own. There resides doctors, lawyers, professors, business owners, and professional athletes to name a few. Many of these Mexicans have hardly any desire to even visit the USA. Illegal criminals who breach the US borders are mostly uneducated and unskilled laborers. The main difference between our porous borders today, and Ellis Island years ago, is that back then we could and did REFUSE citizenship to people who we did not seem fit to enter our country. We should be “cherry picking” who gains citizenship to our country ( Like ALL other countries), not accepting social and economic bankruptcy to appease the politicians and farmers making money off of illegal immigrants.
