Why did the Mexican-American war start?
Well, to answer that question, first to have to know abit about this history of it. The Mexcian-American War was an armed conflicted between United States, and Mexico from 1846 to 1848. After the success of Lewis and Clark, more and more Americans explored and settled in the Louisiana Territory. And right next to Louisiana was Texas. Texas was big land, rich with resources and possibilities. It was also largely part of Mexico.
