The Industrial Revolution ended because the number of people with “blue-collar” jobs (jobs involving working in offices) had exceeded the number of people with “white collar” jobs (jobs like construction working that were more physical.) This started the Information Age, the age of “transferring data through different types of technology.” This is the age we are in now.
