Why did the Great Migration of African Americans happen?
It all depends on what you mean by the “Great Migration”. You could mean the enforced migration of African Americans which is commonly known as SLAVERY, or you could mean an economic migration, whereby people leave one area to move to another because there are better opportunities in terms of employment, housing, education, services, less racism, etc.
